right°'s innovative #XDC methodology is able to analyse a company's climate impact and translate it into a measurable global temperature rise, allowing companies to benchmark against the Paris alignment of 1.5°C.

Over the past year, we've been focussing to revamp the XDC Climate Impact Report portfolio. We kicked off the process with a workshop involving stakeholders from our business, model, and software teams, and worked together in designsprints to align on goals and develop a ready-to-test prototype.

We then tested prototypes with clients in 1-on-1 interviews and developed a component-based designsystem with the dev team to serve as a scalable software foundation for our new report portfolio. After releasing an MVP as a free entry product and evaluating new processes and collecting user feedback, we developed the Next-Gen XDC Climate Impact Report.

So, what's changed? A lot! The reworked structure and visual design now include graphics, analytics, and charts that make it easier than ever to understand a company's climate impact. We've also added new features, including the calculation of a company's remaining 1.5°C-aligned emissions budget and examples of reduction pathways to stay within it (I’ve been told, this is a real gamechanger)

And, thanks to our fully automated and redesigned data entry process, we can generate reports and communicate with clients in a way that lifts a ton of work off the shoulders of our team.
